Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Zerra. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Zerra.
a. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Zerra ("the App"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zerra.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
b. Use of the App
Zerra grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.
You agree to use Zerra only in ways that are lawful and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
c. Health Disclaimer
Zerra is a wellness and habit-tracking tool. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The content, features, and guidance within Zerra — including craving management techniques, breathing exercises, and habit-tracking — are provided for general wellness and motivational purposes only. They are not substitutes for professional medical advice.
If you have a medical condition such as diabetes, prediabetes, an eating disorder, or any other health condition that may be affected by dietary changes, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet. Zerra is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the App.
d. Subscriptions & Refunds
Zerra offers optional premium subscriptions that provide access to additional features. The following terms apply:
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and processed exclusively through Apple's App Store.
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- To cancel your subscription, go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Zerra and select "Cancel Subscription."
- Cancelling your subscription will not result in a prorated refund for the current billing period. You will retain premium access until the end of the paid period.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Zerra does not process refunds directly.
- Subscription prices are subject to change. You will be notified in advance of any price changes.
e. Intellectual Property
All content within Zerra — including but not limited to the app design, user interface, graphics, text, animations, mini-games, meditation content, and branding — is the exclusive intellectual property of Zerra and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted no rights to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from Zerra without prior written permission.
f. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App using automated tools.
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Zerra.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App.
- Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
g. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zerra and its developers, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses, even if Zerra has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, Zerra's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
h. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zerra is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
i. Changes to Terms
Zerra reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will provide notice through the App or via push notification (if enabled). Your continued use of Zerra after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
